Our history

Long tradition of a six generation

It was in the early 1800s that the agricultural farms of the Cassi family were established in the Morasco village and of the Biani - Giusivi family in the Case Fracchioni village .

 This marks the beginning of a longstanding family tradition that has lasted for six generations and lead to the union of these two farms  in 2017, giving rise to the Corte dei Principi agricultural company (the historical name of the courtyard where the company headquarters is located) and the subsequent commercial trademark"Terrantica since 1868".
For more than 150 years, the company lands have been cultivated following a philosophy of "respect" for the land echoing the practices of our grandparents, but integrating "modern" technologies. Hence, the idea of adhering to organic production regulations, but even this is not enough for us... We have eliminated all organic fertilizers from industrial sources, relying solely on livestock effluents from small breeding in the valley and cultivation practices aimed at increasing organic matter and nutritional elements, such as green manures. Subsequently, we made the decision to bring these natural products from the field to the table. Our food are processed by small local laboratories to support the artisanal laboratory in our area while maintaining the high quality of our products.

Wholemeal Donuts

Composed of 90% Terrantica wholemeal flour and 10% Terrantica white flour,
they are the great peculiarity of our company. Thanks to our unique wholemeal flour, they are suitable for tastings with sweet wines in addition to classic breakfasts.

Classic Donuts

Created exclusively with "0" Terrantica flour, they are very substantial and excellent for breakfast.

Solchetti biscuits

Also made exclusively of Terrantica type "0" white flour, they have the particularity of not containing products of animal origin.
Excellent for dipping or spreading.

Lady's Kisses

The only pastry product in our catalogue.
Product of white flour type "0" which goes beautifully with almond flour and dark chocolate.

Classic breadsticks

Type "0" white flour breadsticks.
A simple recipe for a healthy and genuine product to accompany with cured meats of all kinds.

White flour type "0" and wholemeal

Flours derived from the mix of four varieties of soft wheat (2 ancient and 2 modern).
Both stone ground, wholemeal flour has a very particular bran cut which makes it unique and rich in fibre.
